We were totally convinced that the 6.00 was a match between the odds on favourite KING RASKO GREY and the English challenger LORD BYRON (14/1 in the morning down to 7/1 at the off). We recommended an each way bet on LORD BYRON and a 4pt straight forecast of KING RASKO GREY to beat LORD BYRON. That is the way it finished although there was only a head in it at the finish. The forecast paid 4.98/1!! Earlier at Ascot we backed MISS ALPILLES who finished 3rd in the 2.35 at a massive 40/1 and DIVISION in the 3.10 who was backed from 12/1 - 10/1 and came storming home to finish 3rd going down by two necks.
